- Open up the Feeld app.
- Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right corner.
- Tap “Profile” — this is found beneath your basic details like name and age.
- Scroll down to Desires and tap the arrow on the right.
- Select up to ten Desires from the list.
- Tap the back arrow to save.
How To Add Custom “Desires” To Feeld Profile?
Feeld is an open-minded app and it gives you plenty of options, including 20 gender identities and another 20 for sexual orientation. So if you’re feeling a bit boxed in by the list of Desires, you might want to add a custom Desire to your profile.
So how do you add custom Desires to your Feeld profile? Unfortunately, you can no longer add custom Desires to Feeld. They removed the option of adding extra Desires in 2022, and there’s no sign it’s coming back.
You can still add custom Interests by tapping the text box under the Interests tab in your profile and writing anything you like. There’s absolutely no reason why you can’t add a niche desire in here so it’s visible on your profile!
I’m guessing Feeld removed the option of custom Desires to streamline their Majestic Membership benefits. Feeld’s premium service allows you to search based on other users’ Desires, and keeping the list of Desires finite improves this function.
How To Create The Perfect Feeld Profile
Here’s how to create the perfect Feeld profile in three steps:
- Upload Great Photos
First, you need good pictures that show off your best side. That means no selfies, or, if you must, one single mirror selfie in good lighting.
Chances are, there are no good dating app profile pictures on your camera roll, ready to go. You need to go out and take dating app specific pictures to make a great profile. Find interesting backgrounds to give off an impression of a busy, multifaceted person, and make sure you’re looking well-groomed and stylish.
I like to use a mixture of indoor and outdoor pics, and I always make sure my first photo is a clear headshot where I’m smiling and looking into the camera. Researchers have even shown that eye contact is associated with attraction and interest – exactly what you need for a right swipe.
